Soil and exposure
In 2016 we decided to plant a little vineyard of 5.000 sq. mt in a fresh area repaired by the hot excess caused by the climate change. The soil is marly-calcareous and slightly clayey.
Vineyard
As per the current rules of non D.O.C. red wines, we cannot reveal the variety; if we do this we would get fined.(lol smiley face). It’s up to you the pleasure to find out its mystery during the tasting. The vineyard has been planted strictly following the biodynamic system; so it has got its certificate.
Vinification and Refinement
The grapes are vinified with non pressed berries and a short maceration (7/8 days) in cement tanks. It does not have refinement in wood, and will be bottled in the following Spring. As per the Renaissance des Appellations Disciplinary the wines do not have treatments neither clarifies. The only oenological coadjutant allowed is the sulphur dioxide inferior to 50 mg/l.
Tasting
Pietre di Luna would like to be a “easygoing” wine, may be a little ironic. Its fruity flavor and its fresh and sensual body create empathy.
